NORTH AMERICA TOUR “A TRIP TO BULGARIA“ NOV-DEC, 2009 After presenting her new Russian album “Dorogoi Dlinnoyu“ (A Long Trip) at the “Words and Portrait“ project in Moscow at the end of October, Dessy was impatient to gather and entertain once again the Bulgarian music lovers in USA and Canada with some of the most popular and favorite songs. On November 7th, 2009, with a concert in New York Dessy Dobreva starts her new tour “A Trip To Bulgaria“ in USA and Canada. Dessy Dobreva sings for the cause “Tomorrow for all of us“ in Sofia! Dessy Dobreva will sing in the "Garden of Boris" in Sofia on May 23rd, at a charity concert. The concert is part of the campaign "Tomorrow for all of us", raising money for building a rehabilitation center in Sofia for the women with breast cancer. The event will start at 11.00h with a short walk towards the stage. The idea of the walk is that "if we're together and if we're strong, we could fight the problem better, and we could live better", said Nina Hadjiyska, chairman of the foundation "Tomorrow for all of us". Dessy Dobreva - jury of “The Magic of The Song“ in Targovishte Dessy Dobreva was a member of the jury of the 7th National Contest for Young Singers "The Magic of the Song" in Targovishte. The contest took place at the Drama Theatre of Targovishte. There were over 70 participants from all around the country. Members of the jury were also the well-known singers Mimi Ivanova & Razvigor Popov, the composer Maria Ganeva and the producer Maja Raykova. Dessy volunteer at the campaign “Tomorrow for All of Us“! Dessy Dobreva is proud to be one of the volunteers of the campaign "Tomorrow for all of us", helping to build a rehabilitation center for the women with breast cancer. In September 2009 Dessy joined the charity campaign of The Avon Walk Around the World for Breast Cancer, and is now one of the supporters of "Tomorrow for all of us". The campaign started with a symphony concert of the composer Kiril Ikonomov and continued with a photo session of all volunteers at the "Oborishte" garden. Dessy also recorded a special audio clip for all the radio stations around the country, asking more people to join the cause.

On April 20th, right after Easter in Bulgaria, Dessy Dobreva was invited at the show “An Afternoon with TV7” to present her new single "Ludo Mlado" (Madcap). Dessy Dobreva - Performer Of The Year of 2008 !!! Dessy Dobreva won the award of Fan TV, voted online by fans, for Performer Of The Year of 2008. The ceremony was held on April 6th, 2009, at the Balkanski Circus. For a second year Fan TV awarded the best Bulgarian artists in the genres of pop, pop-folk, folklore and world music. The hall of the circus was full with more than 1 300 fans, expecting to see who are the winners. Dessy was surprised and extremely happy when receiving the award.
